Vauxhall Cavalier Turbo
Audi Quattro S1
Audi quattro (S1): Possibly the most famous of all, certainly my favourite all time car. Bursting onto the scene in the late 80's as the first 4x4 rally car took the group B rally championship by storm thrashing all competition in its first outing. The noise of this beast was immense, turbo chattering its way through crowds of spectators that travelled miles just to get a glimpse of this. In those days spectators could stand in the road till the last possible second almost playing chicken with these brutes. Nigel Mansel famously stated after driving this machine 'This car will accelerate quicker on gravel than a formula one car could on tarmac'. Truely awe inspiring.
